Goalkeeper. Born Burton-on-Trent. Joined initially on loan from Derby, but some impressive performances persuaded Oxford to offer him a permanent contract. Won the player of the season award in 2000/01, but he failed to impress new boss Mark Wright the following year, especially after he made a severe cock-up in the FA Cup tie at Chester. Ended up on the tills in Bicester Village. England Youth international.
