Stephen McClaren, born Fulford. Dashing young chap, ended his playing career at Oxford after an injury, and went on to become a coach. Then decamped to join Jim Smith at Derby, before moving on to become the Assistant Manager at Manchester United. Thence to Middlesbrough, and then even further obscurity. After his somewhat disastrous spell as England manager he went Dutch, managing FC Twente to the Hollish title in 2010, immediately after which he moved to German side Wolfsburg.
