Amine to stay

From the Rage Online newsdesk Monday, March 21st, 2005

Amine Karam, who has put in a couple of excellent performances for United’s reserves, has signed a one-month contract at the club, allowing him to be considered for the first team. The French winger has displayed some dazzling skills in his two appearances at Court Place Farm, and is surely destined to be a star.

Meanwhile, lumbering defender Dave Woozley has joined top-of-the-table Yeovil Town on a one-month loan. The Glovers have Colin Miles and former Oxford centre-back Scott Guyett both out injured, and for some reason they seem to think that Woozley is the answer to their problems. The loan deal does include an option to make the signing permanent, so let’s hope that Woozley does well for the west-country outfit.

Two other Oxford players are currently out on loan. Danny Morgan made his debut for Brackley Town in their 3-1 win over Oxford City on Saturday, although Morgan wasn’t among the scorers. Meanwhile Terry Parker was sent off for Farnborough in their 7-1 defeat at Barnet. Farnborough were already 4-1 down when Parker saw red.
